"Theory of inhomogeneous polyelectrolyte gels and
adsorption layers", advisor: Prof. Alexei Khokhlov.

April 2001 - present: Research associate,
Physics Department, Moscow State University.
Research interests and skills
Statistical physics of polymers, theory of polyelectrolyte
solutions and gels. Microphase separation in charged polymer
systems, properties of spatially inhomogeneous polyelectrolyte
gels and solutions. Interactions of polyelectrolytes with surfaces.
Theory skills include scaling and mean-field calculations,
ability to apply numerical methods and perform complex calculations.
Computer skills: C and FORTRAN programming languages in Unix
and Windows environments, Unix system and network administration.
Batch queue systems and other dedicated software for cluster computing.
Development and maintenance of cluster computer systems.
3D graphics and animation (POV-Ray).
Realtime data acquisition and processing (Windows platform),
virtual instrumentation.
Teaching skills: "Use of computers in scientific research"
(lectures and laboratory for 3rd year undergraduate students,
1 semester per year), since 1998.
